About US

OUR STORY

Eden Co. started in 2023 as two friends connected on a mutual passion for the Church and an inspiration they both felt from the Lord to take a step of faith. Combining their years of ministry leadership experience, Jenny and Andrew set out to address some of the glaring issues they saw all too often in their own communities, as well as the broader Church - a lack of equipping to handle mental health issues, wide-sweeping burnout amongst leadership and volunteers, and a gradual drift away from community and towards isolationism & loneliness.

OUR PASSION

We have burning hearts for the Church, and long to see a movement back towards the wholeness and harmony of Eden. Our hope with Eden Co. is that it will serve as both a preventative and restorative measure as we come alongside church communities to support and make a lasting impact.

About the Founders

JENNY HOGGATT, LMSW, CTS

Jenny has 20 years of experience as a social work. In 2011, she graduated from Wayne State University with her Master of Social Work and obtained her full license in 2014. Since that time Jenny has worked as a therapist for children with developmental delays/trauma, as a trauma assessment specialist, and as a mental health consultant specializing in trauma and trauma-informed care. Jenny is passionate about helping others understand the ways in which those who have been affected by trauma can reach fuller healing.

Jenny is also very passionate about serving the larger Church community. She is currently serving on the teaching team at her church and over the last 20+ years has led various other ministries. She is passionate about helping the church understand the ways in which they are called to serve those around them and reflect the ideal of Eden throughout the world.

ANDREW SCHEIBE

Born and raised in the Detroit area, Andrew has almost 20 years of experience serving the Church, primarily in music ministries leading worship and playing guitar. His joy and passion in ministry revolves around building relationships and shepherding. The issue of burnout is especially near and dear, and his years in ministry have cultivated in him a genuine heart for taking care of people, preventing burnout in others, and helping selfless servants create boundaries and balance in life and ministry for themselves.

Andrew is recently married to the love of his life, Mikayla, and is dog-father to a sweet little pup named Reese. He loves to spend time with his family & friends, write and record music in his basement studio, and on Sundays you’ll still find him serving in the band at church.
